Below are the announcements and important news for members and friends of our Grove and Druidry in general.

Upcoming Events:

Join us at our next ritual. Rituals will celebrate the season and honor the kindred.  Here are the next few services (held at Crown point unless otherwise noted) and other events:

* Join us Tuesday, Jan 17,  at 7pm for a Druidic Eistedfodd! Bring a favorite poem or two and/or a favorite myth.  We will be doing a dramatic reading and discussion.  This is a great way to practice your Bardic arts and enjoy some pagan company. This will be held at a private residence near Adams Ave 92116.  Please email sddruids@yahoo.com if you would like to attend by Monday Jan 16.  Hosted by  Torrey Pine and Coast Oak Groves - San Diego’s Druids.

* Imbolc Ritual: Sunday January 29. 5:15 pm.  Join us to celebrate Brigid and the hearth.  See directions below.

* San Diego Druids will be at Pantheacon the weekend of Feb  17-20. Look for us via the ADF Hospitality Suite at the Double Tree Hotel. Ask for John or Ben. If we aren’t there, leave us a note how to contact you. We will be participating in the ADF ritual on Saturday Morning at 11 a.m.  Please join us.

* Spring Equinox/Ostara Rite March 18 5:30 pm at Crown Point.

* Pagan Pride Sep 8.  Druids will preside over opening ritual at Pagan Pride again this year. We are very honored and blessed to be able to do so. We will also hold a Druid workshop and have our Druid booth for all to stop by and visit with us.  Look forward to seeing you there.  Opening ritual is at 9 a.m.  workshop time tbd. 

Wood for the fire is appreciated (especially during the cold months).

Mama’s Kitchen is our community outreach and dry, non perishable food donations are appreciated and delivered for their service to shut ins.

If you wish to bring an offering for the Kindred, please do so.  Ritual wear is always welcome.

If you are interested in a Druid path or would just like a different fellowship and ritual experience, we invite you to join us.  We welcome guests of all paths to join us in our ritual blessings and believe you will find a warm welcome and a fun, safe, and interesting group to worship and experience the Kindred.

Donations to Coast Oak Grove to help continue our mission in San Diego are greatly appreciated and may be tax deductible.

Directions to Crown Point fire ring: 8 west to sports arena/w mission bay. turn right and stay on that road until it turns into Ingrahm and you come to Crown Point Drive (at top of 3rd bridge) Turn right. As you start down the hill, take a right into the parking lot of Mission Bay and go to end of the lot near the basket ball court and restrooms. We will seek the tables to the east of the courts. Please look for our gathering in case we get moved we will have a small banner with the Grove logo.

 

 

Druid Full Moon Rituals

As folk who honor and worship the cycles of nature, our Grove also celebrates the waxing and waning of the Moon. As druids, we hold private rituals for the Dark Moon, Full Moon and New Moon (Sixth Night Moon). On occassion, we hold public Full Moon Rituals at local venues or Pagan Stores. Please check here for updates on when and where these will occur.

News from the Mother Grove

ADF membership is $25 /year.   If you pay by PayPal, please add an  extra dollar to cover the costs of using that service.

Please  include your grove affiliation (i.e. Coast Oak Grove) when renewing. That way the Mother Grove knows what Grove you’re attending. It helps us get more resources from ADF when we have lots of paid and affiliated members on file.
